Snapchat launches its first mini-apps

 Snap Minis is starting to appear within the main Snapchat app, convincing users to stay longer within the app and not leave to use other apps.

 Snap Minis are simple mini-applications made by developers by HTML5 and are located within the basic Snapchat app for all users, which are used directly by searching for them without the need for any installation.

 The first batch of mini-apps are now available for use, namely Headspace, Let's Do It, Prediction Master and Flashcards. Snapchat promises to launch a mini-version of other apps such as Saturn, Tembo, Atom and Coachella.

 

 Last month, Snap announced the mini app feature, a new phase of openness to developers and had previously promised to make more tools for camera and imaging features available to developers as well, meaning that external applications might be able to use the app's lenses.
