The Chinese company, Infinix, announced its latest smartphone, Smart
5, which belongs to the low-end category, and works with a lighter version of
the Android operating system.
The Infinix Smart 5 offers a 6.6-inch IPS screen with HD +
resolution, and the screen includes a cut-out front camera that comes with 8
megapixels. On the back of the phone there is a 13-megapixel main camera, in
addition to two QVGA cameras for each. There is also a fingerprint sensor.
Although it is a low-spec phone, the phone contains a 5,000 mAh
battery with 10-watt charging support via the micro USB port, and it works with
the Android 10 Go operating system, although its specifications are stronger than
the phones that are assigned the lighter version of the Android system. .
The Infinix Smart 5 contains an eight-core processor with a frequency
of 1.8 GHz, and has a random access memory (RAM) size of 2 GB, or 3 GB, and
internal storage capacity of 32 GB, or 64 GB with the ability to expand through
external memory cards type microSD.
The phone will be available in three colors: blue, black and green.
It will be launched in India and Nigeria, and there is no information currently
on the launch date and price.
It is noteworthy that the new phone comes about 4 months after the
announcement of its two new phones, Infinix Note 7 and Infinix Note 7 Lite,
which focus on cameras and batteries.
The (Infinix Note 7) came with a 6.95-inch LCD screen with a
resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels, and it contains a 16-megapixel front camera
hole.
As for the lighter version of the phone called (Infinix Note 7 Lite),
it shares many specifications with the other version, including: The battery
capacity, which differs in that it charges 10 watts, not 18 watts.
