Huawei announced today at its developer conference the update of its
laptop series with the launch of the MateBook X and MateBook 14.
The Chinese company has strengthened the MateBook X with the tenth
generation Intel processors, while the MateBook 14 will contain AMD processors.
The two Huawei devices offer a beautiful, slim design and run the
Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, and the company will launch them in
China at launch and then launch them at the global level in the month of
October.

The device features a 13.8-inch screen with a resolution of 3000 x
2000 pixels with thin edges that make the screen cover about 90% of the face of
the device.
It will carry with it the Intel tenth-generation Core i5 processor
with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB storage disk, or the tenth-generation Intel Core i7
processor with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB storage disk. It will also add a 3.5mm
headphone jack, two USB-C ports, and Wi-Fi 6 technology.
The Huawei computer will also add a 42-watt battery that the company
says can last up to 9 hours on a single charge.
And speaking of price, the Core i5 processor will come at around
1,600 euros, while the Core i7 version will come in at around 1,800 euros.
Referred to as this device as a miniature version of the MateBook X
Pro, but with a lighter design and without an external graphics processor and
some changes.
The MateBook 14 laptop
The device comes in three versions with a 14-inch IPS LCD screen, as
is evident from the name, and features a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, and
accounts for 90% of the interface. The higher-spec version features the
addition of a touch feature.
The Huawei device will support AMD processors, with the first version
coming with a Ryzen 7 4600H processor, 256GB storage and 8GB RAM, while the
second version will come with the same processor but 16GB RAM and 512GB
internal storage capacity, and the third version will be with the Ryzen 7
processor 4800H, 16GB of memory with 512GB of storage - the version that will
support touch.
MateBook 14 will support a 56-watt battery that supports 65-watt fast
charging, and will add support for Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 802.
It will also provide several ports to connect other devices,
including two USB-A ports, a USB-C port, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a traditional
3.5 mm headphone jack.
The price of the devices will start from 850 euros, 950 euros for the
highest-specification version, and 1,050 euros for the more powerful version
that will support the touch feature.
