Four brands specializing in the production of gaming monitors,
namely: Alienware, MSI, Asus and Acer, are planning to launch a 25-inch 1080p
screen designed for competitive games with a very fast 360 Hz refresh rate, and
the launch will be during the fall of 2020.
In addition, it will be the first screens to feature Nvidia's Reflex
Latency Analyzer, which aims to help players accurately measure and reduce
latency from the mouse, screen, and computer. The company had talked about this
feature at the launch event yesterday of the new graphics cards: GeForce RTX
3090, (RTX 3080), and (RTX 3070).
By reducing latency or latency, the feature aims
to increase the likelihood that the player will be able to achieve a goal in
competitive play. Besides the fast refresh rate and minimal latency, the G-Sync
feature of the monitor will ensure that it does not display any screen tearing
or blurring while playing games in quick clip.
Every brand deals with some aspect of their screens. Dell did not
disclose the price of the Alienware 25 screen, but MSI said: The Oculux NXG253R
will be offered at $ 799 when it is launched in November.
It will have a screen PG259QN from Asus, and a screen Predator X25
from Acer ports of type HDMI 2.0, and DisplayPort 1.4.
And since the Reflex feature reduces mouse latency to a minimum by
plugging it directly into the monitor, it's almost certain that each of the
displays will have a USB-A port.
Nvidia also promotes what it calls dual-engine IPS technology that
helps these 360Hz monitors maintain "fast, consistent response times and
color levels across the entire screen."
The company also says: Its Reflex technology can deliver latency
improvements to the latest GPU cards starting with the GeForce GTX 900 series.
It claims this new feature can provide up to 33% improvement in PC response,
even with a GeForce GTX card. 1660 Super mid-range.
